Accor Group:

Orange signed with the Group Accor the most important deal ever concerning highspeed wireless Internet in the hotel sector : 1300 Accor hotels in France are equipped with wifi access Orange.

Air France :

The 54 Air France lounges all over the world will also benefit from an Orange wifi coverage..

Club Med affaires Club Med :

The Group France Telecom and Orange France signed a partnership with the Club Med and extended their Hotspots' Wi-Fi network in 4 Villages Business situated in France: Opio, Pompadour, Vittel and Palmyre-Atlantique.
This partnership allows the customers of Business Club Med Villages to benefit from highspeed wireless Internet access.

« The Business Club Med represents 28 villages offering infrastructures specially conceived for meetings and seminars. The following villages, Opio, Pompadour, Vittel the Park, Vittel Ermitage and The Palmyre Atlantique, benefit since the beginning of April from an Orange wifi access coverage. Customers or groups of business customers can connect to the highspeed wireless Internet, from their laptop at the reception, at the bar, in a conference room, or in their room.
Club Med's strategy is to always offer better equipments and understand their customers in order to always respond to their needs and expectations.»

 

Virgin cafés :

Virgin cafes: 1st Orange wifi access hotspots with multimedia contents.
Virgin Megastore chose Orange for the implementation of Wi-Fi access in eight of its Virgin cafes (Champs-Élysées, La Défense Quatre-Temps, Montmartre, Melun-Sénart, Belle Epine, Nice, Marseille, Avignon) as well as in the shop "Furet du Nord" at Lille.

Golf Blue Green :

Blue Green chose to join the network of hotspots Orange wifi access by equipping ten of its golf in Wi-Fi. Blue Green is the 1st chain of golf in Europe, with 20 golfs in France among which 6 in Paris.

Villages Hôtel :

"Villages Hotel" is state-of-the-art. All the hotels are equipped in Wi-Fi. All the customers can surf on the Internet in their room.

"Villages Hotel" chose to join the network of hotspots Orange wifi access by equipping 56 of its hotels in France in Wi-Fi ."Villages Hotel" is a chain of hotels in France and in Germany; the hotels are mainly located in urban suburbs, close to motorways, main roads, tourist and commercial zones.

Wi-Fi network partners :

Orange continues to extend its Wi-Fi coverage in France and abroad thanks to agreements with other Wi-Fi networks.

At the beginning of 2005, Orange signed two new alliances with SNCF / CEGETEL and SFR, which strengthens the French agreements already in place : ADP telecom and Bouygues Télécom.

Then, Orange signed an alliance with Weroam and BT Openzone, extending its international coverage to 12,000 hotspots in 34 countries.

Since mai 19th 2005, Orange customers have access to 1500 BT Openzone hotspots, mainly located in the UK and in Ireland : passengers who transit by Gatwick and Heathrow airports or British Airways lounges, can now be connected to Orange's highspeed wireless Internet access.

Orange, member of Wireless Link,
the Wi-Fi operators association in France

Wireless Link aims to gather efforts of its members to offer the best Wi-Fi cover to all its customers, and to boost the use of Wi-Fi in piblic places in France.

Created in October 2003 by Orange, SFR et Bouygues Telecom, Wireless Link Association, initialy named WiFi Multi Operator, represents a total of more than 7000 operationnal hotspots in France, i.e 90% of the french network.

In June 2004, ADP Télécom, Naxos et Wifirst joined Wireless Link, and more recently All Telecom, Meteor Networks, SANEF et Visacom.



Orange, member of WBA,
the Wi-Fi operators association in the world :

The Wireless Broadband Alliance gathers the main Wi-Fi operators in 23 countries in Europe, the US and Asia i.e a total of more than 43,000 hotspots.

In this Alliance, Orange works to offer the best Wi-Fi coverage abroad to all its customers, and with the same access simplicity than that of Orange Wifi Access network.
